Senior Citizens Center

315 S Carnegie, Carnegie, OK 73015 (580) 654-1507 Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

Due to Covid 19 the center is temporarily not receiving guest and meals are drive up only or delivered. We will let everyone know when those rules are lifted.

The Senior Citizen’s Center is a wonderful addition to Carnegie. It is a great place for anyone 60 years of age and older to get out of the house and be active in our community. Whether it be to play one of the many games (e.g. domino’s, cards or bingo) have lunch or just visit . The lunch program is apart of the Delta Community Act “Lunches For Nutrition” and is served at 11:30 am Monday thru Friday. The menu is posted weekly in the Carnegie Herald for those who are interested. You can come 1 day or all 5 its up to the senior. If you are home bound don’t fret we have a bus that will deliver your lunch 5 days a week. If you don’t drive or want a lift, the same bus will provide you with transportation to the center and then home at the end of the day.

The center is host to several senior parties a year and puts on a wonderful Christmas party each year for its guest.

The Senior Citizens Center is a non-profit organization that provides community involvement and a nutritious meal but can’t do it with out your support. The Delta Community Act suggest a $2.00 daily donation for meals which helps but is not always affordable for some of our guest. Anyone wishing to donate their time or make a monetary donation to the center, or who have other questions can call Shirley Pattison at (580) 654-1507 between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday thru Friday.
